About the Chris Klug Foundation
The Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2004. Its mission is to promote lifesaving donation and improve quality of life for donors, donor families, organ transplant candidates and recipients. Thousands of people are waiting for the life-saving gift of donation. Together, let’s eliminate “The Wait.” CKF shares the message of donation, and the impact a single person can have on so many. We also assist donors, donor families, recipients and their families as they prepare and recover.

Our goal is to share the donation message with the world's youth through action sports and our grassroots program titled "Donor Dudes." With the help of college and high school students and campus outreach clubs we will work towards establishing "Donor Dudes" chapters on every high school and college campus in the world. Learn how to become a "Donor Dude!"

Founder Chris Klug is a liver transplant recipient (July 2000) and the first-ever transplant recipient Olympic Medalist (Salt Lake City, Utah 2002, Snowboarding). He continues to race on the FIS International World Cup Tour, and he participated in the 2006 Winter Olympics. Visit ChrisKlugFoundation.org for more info.
