Welcome to the fouth annual Summit For Life event! Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. By participating in Summit for Life, you help us spread the message that becoming an organ donor is important and that transplant recipients and living donors can lead active, healthy lives. Chances are somebody you know has been touched by this issue. So get involved!

 

     
 




Dec. 12th: Summit for Life, a nighttime uphill race on Aspen Mountain with a party at the Sundeck. 5:15 pm Recreational Start or 6 pm Competitive Start.

  • One donor can save up to eight lives through organ donation and enhance up to 50 lives through tissue donation
• Today 101,969 people are waiting for lifesaving organ transplants nationally.
• In Colorado, 1,852 people are currently waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant.
• In Colorado, 49% of those waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant are between 50 and 64 years of age. 26% are between 35 and 49 years of age.
