Once again we have the privilege of participating in this awesome annual event. Although the format is different this year, the cause is the same. My team and I will be hiking, running, skinning up mountains to raise money for the Chris Klug Foundation. Read below for more details.
Thank you so much for your support!
THE CHRIS KLUG FOUNDATION- Founded in 2003 by liver transplant recipient and Olympic Medalist snowboarder Chris Klug, the Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) is dedicated to promoting lifesaving donation and improving the quality of life for donors, donor families, organ transplant candidates, and recipients. CKF is passionate about sharing the message of donation and educating people on the impact that one person can have on the lives of many others. More than 110,000 people are currently on waiting lists for organ transplants across the United States and on average 22 people die each day waiting for an organ. CKF is devoted to making a difference to those waiting for a second chance and is working to help promote the message of organ donation. Through its grassroots initiative, Donor Dudes, CKF is also working with young people around the nation, providing donor awareness materials and information for Donor Dudes events on high schools and college campuses nationwide. People everywhere are touched by organ donation and transplantation, and it is our mission to help spread the word in a fun, engaging way. The Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Aspen, Colorado. Please, make a decision to be an organ & tissue donor, and be sure to share that decision with your family.
Love Liza! (and Team Joyful)
